After finishing my university degree, I decided to work overseas. My placement was Brazil. It was a crazy adventure as I lived in a city of 200,000 people and moved to Sau Paulo which was 12 million. I did not know the culture or the language but decided it would be a great learning experience. As it turns out, it was amazing. I learnt a lot about myself and the experience triggered my desire to travel to experience new places and to meet new people.
After coming back to Canada I was fortunate enough to become a sales person for a growing tech company. I had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout North America. Since I traveled so much, I was able to rack up an enormous amount of reward points through the airlines and hotels which allowed me to travel at any opportunity with my husband. Some of the country highlights during this time included: St. Lucia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Spain, France, Turkey and Greece.
In 2005, my husband and I decided to have a family but our desire to travel never stopped. We even took our 7 month old baby boy on a trip to Europe. I think everyone thought we were crazy at the time but it was an incredible trip that I will never forget. We visited: Switzerland, France and Germany. As our kids were little we stayed closer to home with trips to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, Hawaii, Bahamas and Mexico.
In recent years we have started traveling overseas with our children and we have made many lasting memories. Our family's favourite countries include: Italy and Greece. My husband and I have done a few couple trips as well to the following countries: Croatia, Portugal and Italy.
Another passion that I have is traveling with friends and family. There is no better way to see a place than to share it with people you love. Some of the destinations are: Portland, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Santa Ynez Valley, New York City, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Phoenix.
I have spent many hours planning and organizing trips for my family and friends and I have loved every minute of it. I thought I could share this knowledge and experience with people like you, who are planning a trip. There is an enormous amount of information available today and trying to figure what is meaniningful is difficult to do with limited time, and that is my purpose and the reason I started Resfeber.....to ease the planning for people so they can enjoy their trip, hassle free.
